Vicki Donat RVN

Head Nurse,Vicki joined the practice in 2001 as a qualified nurse from the PDSA in Brighton and she was promoted to Head Nurse in 2011. Vicki loves exercise and is a slave to the gym! Vicki also has an interest in exotic and emergency medicine.  She owns  4 cats named Rio, Lexi, Chi Chi and Amo Elsa.

Sonya Drury RVN

Joined the practice in 1987 as a qualified nurse when A.N. Stuart owned the practice, she has a horse named Banjo and rides regularly. She mainly works at the weekends as our critical care nurse but you may recognise her from reception where she also works three days a week.

Jess Wyatt – Student Nurse

Jess started in September 2017 and is currently studying to become an RVN. She is our go to girl when it comes to wildlife due to her knowledge and passion for wild creatures. Her home is filled with feathered, fluffy and spiky foster babies. In her spare time she rides her horse Woody and also owns a dog named Taz.

Sophie White RVN

Joined the practice in July 2008 as a qualified nurse and has now become a Clinical Coach responsible for training the student nurses. Sophie has done a couple of world trips and worked at a lion rehabilitation centre in Africa before she came here and in 2011 worked at the tiger temple in Thailand. Sophie is a big fan of music and theatre and has been lucky enough to meet famous people including Olly Murs, Ray Quinn and McFly!  Sophie owns two cats called PJ and Pickle

Nikki Wood RVN

Joined the practice in 2003 as a Saturday girl, when she was still at school! She impressed us with her hard work and show of initiative that we had to employ her as a full time student nurse; Nikki qualified as a nurse in 2009. In her spare time she is a very keen motorsport enthusiast and often travels in on her motorbike. Nikki owns 2 dogs called Shadow and Scratch and is passionate about Guinea Pigs.

James Harry RVN

James joined the practice at the end of 2014 from the PDSA in Brighton where he had worked for 7 years as a Veterinary Care Assistant. He has recently qualified as a Veterinary Nurse at Plumpton College. James has got a 5 year old cat called “Flick” and enjoys watching rugby. He used to play as well for the “Hove Outcasts”.

Jenny Davies RVN

Jenny joined us in February 2016. She previously worked as a veterinary nurse at PDSA Brighton where she trained and attended Bicton Agricultural College completing her qualification in 2002. She enjoys all aspects of nursing and owns two rabbits called Murphy and Roo.

Kelly Bowring – RVN

Kelly joined the reception team in January 2016 after leaving college. In January 2017, Kelly joined the nurses to help out in our hospital and began her Veterinary Nursing training in September 2019. She is a keen horse rider and owns a horse called Bertie with whom she competes regularly. She also has two cats called Gary and Kylie.

Amie Clare RVN

Amie joined us in 2017 but qualified as an RVN in 2015 having completed her studies at Plumpton College where she is an Ambassador . She is also a clinical coach.  Amie likes travelling and spending time with friends and family and loves to take her family dogs on walks.

Harriet Shankster RVN

Harriet joined us in 2020 after qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Plumpton College in 2019. She owns two miniature dachshunds called Ralph and Freida and three little guinea pigs. In her spare time she enjoys long walks with her dogs and meeting up with friends”.

Rebecca Delmon – RVN

Rebecca joined our nursing team in October 2018 as a student studying to become an RVN and qualified in Feb 2021 She is the owner of a dog and a cat and is a keen Stoolball player having played for Sussex and the England team.
